This pivotal role presents an exceptional opportunity to collaborate closely with both attorneys and clients in a non-partner-track capacity, acquiring extensive expertise in a diverse array of health care liability matters.

Candidate Profile:

• Successful completion of JD from a distinguished law school, demonstrating outstanding academic achievement.
• Bar Admission in Kansas or Missouri is required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in managing cases involving medical malpractice, personal injury, or related civil litigation.
• Expertise in case management, trial preparation, and comprehensive litigation practices, including the drafting and review of discovery materials and motions, conducting and defending depositions, and handling court appearances.
• Superior writing, research, and communication skills with a proven track record in high-stakes litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Health Care Professional Liability team in effectively managing complex cases, with a specific focus on medical malpractice and other health care-related claims.
• Draft and thoroughly review discovery materials, motions, and various litigation documents.
• Conduct depositions, adeptly handle court appearances, and actively contribute to trial preparation, thereby ensuring unparalleled representation for clients.
• Collaborate closely with seasoned attorneys and actively participate in shaping the strategic direction of each case.
