HEALTHCARE LITIGATION ASSOCIATE
Location: Charleston, SC
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated individual to join our esteemed national law firm as a mid-level Associate in the field of Healthcare Litigation. The role will be based in our Charleston office.
Requirements:
- The successful candidate must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a prestigious law school, with a proven track record of academic excellence.
- Bar Admission in South Carolina is mandatory.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in either healthcare litigation or complex litigation is required.
- Strong writing abilities, with the capacity to produce exceptional work independently.
- Proficiency in litigation, including the drafting of motions and briefs, as well as deposition preparation.
- Preference given to candidates with prior experience in federal litigation.
- Advantageous to have a background in healthcare reimbursement compliance, defense, and litigation, particularly in government and private payer disputes.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to grasp complex subject matter quickly and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Take charge of healthcare litigation cases, including the drafting of motions, briefs, and preparation for depositions.
- Engage in federal litigation and disputes related to healthcare reimbursement.
- Offer strategic advice on complex litigation matters and consistently deliver exceptional final work products with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate closely with the national healthcare litigation team to contribute to the growth and success of the practice.
- Navigate complex subject matter efficiently and effectively.
