Sales Application Engineers will utilize industry-specific, web-based engineering software that streamlines the entire sales application engineering process. Customers can input their data into the website, and the software automatically generates quotes, proposals, and follow-ups. This automation enables Sales Application Engineers to focus on providing the best product solutions for their customers. The software is designed to deliver quotes and proposals within fifteen minutes of customer input, eliminating the need for travel in this role. - Apply engineering knowledge to provide technical expertise on company products
- Investigate customer needs and provide effective solutions
- Utilize the sales process consistently throughout customer interactions
- Analyze customer requirements and offer appropriate alternative proposals to company sales professionals
- Communicate effectively via phone, email, and virtual channels
Prior experience in heat transfer would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and background:
- A Bachelor's Degree in engineering
- At least five years of experience in mechanical engineering
- An affinity for engaging with customers over the phone
- A strong aptitude for mechanical engineering
- A minimum of two years of industrial sales experience
- A solid work history
- Must be a US citizen or green card holder
- Resides within a 45-minute commute of the Richfield area
