We are seeking an experienced Home Infusion Account Executive with a strong background in specialty pharmacy sales and established relationships across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. This role focuses on promoting specialized medications and infusion services within key medical specialties including neurology, gastroenterology, dermatology, rheumatology, and immunology.
Role Overview:
The Account Executive will drive new business development and manage key accounts to contribute to overall pharmacy growth. This includes building strong provider relationships, implementing sales strategies, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Market specialty medications and infusion services in key therapeutic areas:

Neurology (IVIG, SCIG), Gastroenterology (e.g., Stelara), Dermatology, Immunology

Maintain and grow relationships with current providers and referral sources

Prospect and cold call to develop new referral channels

Develop targeted marketing plans and creative sales campaigns
-
Collaborate with pharmaceutical partners to align messaging and promote shared products
-
Work closely with internal pharmacy operations to ensure smooth communication and service delivery

Support providers with prior authorization (PA) processes when needed
-
Ensure timely and thorough execution of sales and marketing strategies

Attend client meetings, industry events, and local travel as required

Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
-
Authorized to work in the U.S.
-
2–4 years of experience in Specialty Sales or Home Infusion Pharmacy
-
Strong background in pharmaceutical sales, healthcare services, or medical device sales

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
-
Solid knowledge of medical terminology, pharmaceutical products, and industry trends

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
-
Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and business development
Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred; however, an established book of IVIG business may substitute for degree
-
At least 2–4 years of relevant experience in the healthcare sales field
-
Minimum of 3 years in outside pharmaceutical sales preferred

Proven track record of sales success and territory development
Preferred Qualifications:

Active book of IVIG business

Established relationships in neurology, GI, dermatology, immunology, or similar specialties
