Job description-Infusion Nurse

Job Description: We are in need of a registered nurse to administer specialty drugs through infusion. The primary drugs currently being infused include: Entyvio, IVIG, Ocrevus, Radicava, Stelara, Biosimilars, and Remicade.

Preferred location for candidates is in or near Greenville, NC.

Required Qualifications:

· Must hold an active nursing license in NC

· Recent experience in starting peripheral IVs and accessing implanted ports

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in an intensive care unit or emergency department OR 2+ years of experience in home infusion of specialty drugs

· Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills

· Ability to work independently and self-directed

· Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Certifications:

• IgCN
• CRNI
• BLS

Responsibilities:

· Administer specialty drugs through infusion

· Educate patients and teach them how to self-administer medications in their own homes

· Independently coordinate and manage schedule

· Collaborate with intake team to ensure timely delivery of drugs and supplies
