Hospice Executive Director

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hospice Executive Director to lead our established hospice provider in Denver / Colorado Springs, CO. Are you ready to take on the challenge of starting up a new office in your area? While prior hospice start-up experience is a plus, it is not a requirement. As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the start-up operations, from licensure and office set-up to staffing, accreditation, and day-to-day management. This includes managing business operations, clinical operations, business development, financial control, compliance, and overall business operations management.

  • Must have experience working in the Denver / Colorado Springs market.
  • Prior experience in the Hospice or Home Health industry is essential.
  • Experience as an Executive Director, Administrator, Director of Sales, or in a similar higher-level role.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hospice or home health operations management.
  • Strong background in Operations and Sales/Strategy.
  • Proven experience in budget management, including budget development, monitoring, and financial analysis.
  • Thorough understanding of federal and state regulations and administration pertaining to hospice care.
  • Exceptional leadership and managerial skills.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and assertiveness abilities.
  • Passionate about fostering a positive company culture and being a servant leader.
  • Registered Nurse qualifications would be a bonus, but not required.
