Human Resources Manager

Human Resources Manager Position - Located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma

Our organization is a manufacturing company dedicated to creating a more sustainable global supply chain. As we expand our operations across the U.S., we are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team.

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager who will play a vital role in building and leading our HR department. This position requires a proactive and strategic HR leader who can support both plant operations and corporate initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR policy development. Working closely with the Plant Manager and senior leadership team, you will help cultivate a strong and sustainable workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Devise and implement recruitment strategies to attract top-notch talent for both plant and corporate roles.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, from advertising job openings to conducting onboarding procedures.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to determine workforce requirements and implement effective staffing solutions.

Employee Relations & HR Leadership

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with employees and managers, foster a positive work environment, and serve as the main point of contact for all employee relations matters at the plant.
  • Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and ensure fair and consistent HR practices are upheld.
  • Promote a culture of inclusivity and engagement within the company.

 

HR Policies & Compliance

  • Establish, refine, and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports for audits and compliance purposes.

Workforce Development & Performance Management

  • Create effective onboarding programs to facilitate the seamless integration of new employees.
  • Implement training, development, and retention initiatives to support workforce growth.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including providing feedback and facilitating career development.

HR Initiatives & Organizational Growth

  • Lead HR projects aligned with business goals, such as workforce planning and engagement strategies.
  • Support benefits administration and employee well-being programs.
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish and promote company culture and values.

Other duties as assigned.

Some travel will be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in HR leadership, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, or startup environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience supporting both plant and corporate employees is advantageous.
