Our client, a leading Dairy Food Manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Operations Manager for a large food manufacturing complex in the Central California area. This facility consists of three plants spread across 40 acres and operates 24/7, 365 days a year. As the HR Manager, your primary objective will be to enhance the efficiency and overall business performance of the operation. You will be responsible for providing HR services to a workforce of approximately 500 hourly union employees, as well as 80 management and office staff members. Additionally, you will oversee a team of five HR professionals, providing them with guidance and direction.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is required (an MBA is preferred).
• You must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources, specifically in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience in a union facility is required.
• Holding a PHR or SPHR certification will be highly advantageous.
• Previous experience working in HR for a large company is preferred.
• Familiarity with California labor laws is required.
• Proven experience in managing an HR team is necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and support leadership in engaging employees and resolving employee relations issues.
• Strong collaboration, facilitation, and leadership skills are essential, alongside the ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion while maintaining positive relationships with employees at all levels.
