Heating and Cooling Technician

Our client is a leading HVAC and Plumbing Design-Build contractor in Utah, specializing in providing comprehensive services. As we continue to expand our operations and secure more prominent projects, we are seeking skilled technicians to join our service team!

With a team of over 300 employees dedicated to HVAC, plumbing, process piping, and building automation systems design, fabrication, installation, and service, we are at the forefront of our industry.

Our Service Department is seeking experienced Journeyman and Apprentice technicians to join our team of 60+ professionals. By working within our team structure, you will have the opportunity to enhance your technical skills and customer service abilities.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

• Thoroughly analyzing system blueprints, specifications, and performance data to effectively configure system components such as compressors, motors, pumps, fans, switches, controls, ducts, or pipes.
• Providing high-quality service and maintenance for assigned projects, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
• Utilizing a range of hand-tools to repair various heating and cooling units.
• Identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and efficiently repairing systems and products at customer locations.
• Performing preventative maintenance, conducting site surveys, making necessary replacements and modifications as requested by customers.
• Preparing for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating potential challenges, gathering required materials, and coordinating on-site tasks, where necessary.

Qualifications:

• Preferably, a graduate of an accredited technical school with at least 5 years of relevant experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
• Must possess relevant certifications, licenses, and a valid driver's license in good standing.
• Strong ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Also, capable of writing routine reports and correspondence, all while effectively communicating with customers.
