Hydrologic and Hydraulic Engineer
📍 Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid Schedule)
💼 Full-Time | Direct Hire
💲 $70,000 – $120,000

🔑 MUST HAVES:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering

• 5+ years of experience in H&H engineering

• MT-2 and FEMA LOMR experience

• Proficient in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ICPR, Civil 3D, and GIS

• Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills

• PE license preferred

• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers

🛠️ What You’ll Do:

• Lead hydrologic and hydraulic modeling efforts for stormwater, riverine, and floodplain systems

• Perform flood risk assessments, drainage studies, and mitigation planning

• Design and evaluate stormwater infrastructure, including culverts and detention basins

• Manage FEMA (C)LOMR/MT-2 submissions and coordinate regulatory documentation

• Partner with agencies and internal teams to ensure project and regulatory compliance

• Contribute to permitting processes for water resource and floodplain projects

• Review modeling results and prepare technical reports and documentation
