Our client, a prestigious law firm ranked in the top 100, is seeking a highly skilled IP Associate Attorney to join their expanding Technology Transactions Practice Group. This exciting opportunity is available in the following metropolitan areas: San Francisco, Santa Monica, Silicon Valley, New York, Seattle, or Washington, DC. In this role, you will collaborate closely with biotech and pharmaceutical companies as they pioneer and commercialize groundbreaking therapeutics, vaccines, diagnostics, and digital health technologies.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a JD from a reputable law school with a commendable academic background.
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, or eligibility to sit for/waive into the upcoming bar examination.
• 3–6 years of experience at a renowned law firm where you handled licensing, collaboration, and commercial partnering transactions in the life sciences industry.
• Extensive expertise in advising biotech and pharmaceutical clients regarding patent licensing, strategic alliances, joint ventures, and development agreements.
• A track record of effectively structuring and negotiating transactions related to clinical trials, regulatory approvals (FDA), and commercialization of life sciences technologies.
• Superior skills in drafting, negotiation, and managing client relationships.
• Ability to effectively work with startups, venture-backed companies, and multinational pharmaceutical corporations.

Responsibilities:

• Represent biotech and pharmaceutical clients by negotiating complex licensing, collaboration, and strategic partnership agreements.
• Draft and negotiate agreements for intellectual property licensing, joint development, commercialization, and regulatory matters.
• Provide guidance to clients on FDA regulatory considerations, clinical trial agreements, and manufacturing/supply agreements.
• Collaborate closely with the corporate, M&A, and venture capital teams to support transactions involving life sciences companies.
• Offer strategic advice to founders, investors, and corporate leadership regarding the structuring and execution of technology transactions.
