Responsible for estimating costs for various industrial concrete projects, with a focus on commercial parking structures, large commercial concrete footings and foundations, and other commercial buildings such as apartment complexes and office buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work and estimate requirements
• Prepare cost estimates by calculating quantities, material prices, labor costs, and equipment expenses
• Analyze historical data and create summary reports for future estimation guidelines
• Collaborate on developing bid package estimate documents
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by Supervisor

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent years of experience
• At least 8 years of estimating experience in commercial/industrial projects, including wastewater treatment facilities, large water tanks, and multi-level parking structures
• Proficiency in reading and analyzing engineering drawings, technical plans, purchase orders, and contracts
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, regulatory agencies, and business community members
• Experience using Bid2Win estimating software for bottom-up estimating
• Strong mathematical skills, including fractions, percentages, ratios, and geometric formulas
• General understanding of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing
