Are you an experienced and detail-oriented professional in the field of Inpatient Coding? We are seeking a highly qualified individual with at least 5 years of experience to join our team, and the option to work remotely is available.

Main Duties:

• Accurately assign codes to inpatient medical records using ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Ensure adherence to federal regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and procedures for accurate coding.
• Resolve coding edits and denials.
• Maintain current knowledge of coding guidelines and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of inpatient facility coding experience.
• Must have AHIMA certification (CCA, CCS) or AAPC certification (CPC, CIC).
• Proficiency in ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Thorough understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
