About the Role

We are a growing Colorado-based Building Controls Contractor seeking a Lead Technician / Project Manager with a strong background in low-voltage wiring and light-duty electrical installations for commercial HVAC controls. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in installation and the ability to oversee multiple job sites and teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage multiple projects from start to finish

  • Coordinate labor, materials, and timelines with contractors and subcontractors

  • Conduct job site visits and assist with installations as needed

  • Communicate effectively via email and Excel; maintain project documentation

  • Work both in the field and in-office (approximately 50/50 split)

  • Ensure all work meets industry safety and quality standards

  • Engage with clients from school districts, government buildings, and military facilities

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Several years of hands-on experience with low-voltage wiring, electrical install, and/or HVAC systems

  • Ability to read electrical drawings and wire systems accordingly

  • Proficiency in email and Excel, and general construction knowledge

  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check

  • Physically capable of ladder work and lifting up to 50 lbs

Bonus Skills (Preferred)

  • Experience with Niagara / Honeywell control systems (XL5000, WEBs, Spyder, AX, N4, LCBS)

  • Familiarity with control system installation, programming, and servicing

  • Experience working with commercial or government projects
