Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney – Tampa or New York
POSITION: ASSOCIATE - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LITIGATION
LOCATIONS: Tampa, FL or New York, NY
Our esteemed national law firm is in search of a highly skilled and motivated Associate to become a valuable member of our Intellectual Property Litigation group. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patent litigation and be adept at independently managing various litigation tasks.
Candidate Requirements:
- Successful completion of a JD program at a top-tier law school, accompanied by exceptional academic achievements.
- Active Bar Admission in Florida, Georgia, California, DC, New Jersey, or New York, as applicable.
- Proven experience of 2-5 years in conducting substantive patent litigation.
- Additional expertise in Hatch-Waxman/ANDA litigation and other forms of intellectual property litigation or prosecution would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated capabilities in both written and verbal communication, coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset and sound judgment.
- Strong preference for USPTO registration number or patent bar eligibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiently manage day-to-day litigation tasks, which include draft court pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and motions.
- Independently prepare for and potentially handle various aspects of litigation, including the taking and defending of depositions.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow attorneys and support staff within the firm.
- Employ strategic litigation practices and devise innovative solutions to complex legal issues.
