Inventory Control / Warehouse Manager

  • Applicants should possess at least 5 years of experience in Inventory Controls.
  • Applicants should also have at least 2 years of experience in Warehouse Supervision.
  • Preferred candidates will have experience in International logistics.
This position involves managing a team responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory control, and parts kitting. This includes conducting physical inventory checks while maintaining the ERP system, shipping domestic and international spare parts orders, receiving and processing purchased parts deliveries, and assembling inventory and purchased parts into work orders for machine assembly crews.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Control:
    • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and policies.
    • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to support production schedules and meet customer demand.
    • Regularly conduct inventory audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
    • Implement and maintain inventory management systems and software.
    • Train and supervise inventory control staff, ensuring compliance with established procedures and best practices.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions in inventory management.
  • Shipping and Receiving:
    • Oversee the shipping of spare parts orders, including small package and freight shipments.
    • Ensure inventory is properly assembled for work orders.
    • Supervise personnel responsible for receiving and organizing parts from vendors.
    • Coordinate machine shipping with the manufacturing department.
  • Lead safety efforts to promote a safe work environment and prioritize risk assessment to prevent accidents, near misses, and injuries.
  • Manage the fulfillment process for spare parts orders.
  • Oversee machine shipment projects for both domestic and international shipping.
  • Direct the receiving of incoming parts.
  • Lead the kitting team.
  • Manage the inventory team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control.
  • Preferred certification: APICS CPIM, CSCP.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset with a strong focus on getting things done.
