JDE Finance functional consultant

Our consulting client in Greensboro, NC is actively searching for an experienced Oracle JD Edwards Functional Analyst to join their service delivery team. This role requires hands-on expertise in EnterpriseOne Financial Management applications and a strong ability to troubleshoot and support end-users. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and cross-functional departments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all JD Edwards Finance-related support inquiries, effectively addressing system issues and providing timely resolutions.
  • Identify, document, and resolve user-reported issues related to General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, and other financial modules, escalating complex matters as needed.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of common issues and resolutions to enhance the quality of our managed services.
  • Provide support for various JD Edwards Finance projects, such as system upgrades, new module implementations, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to grasp their business needs and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Assist in gathering and thoroughly documenting business requirements.
  • Support the design, configuration, and successful deployment of JD Edwards Finance modules.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), perform thorough data validation, and execute system integration testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate JD Edwards with other enterprise applications, such as banking interfaces, reporting tools, and third-party systems.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Possess 3-5 years of practical experience in working with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Finance modules.
  • Exhibit a solid understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in system configuration, business analysis, and process optimization within JD Edwards.
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot functional issues and collaborate with technical teams for resolution.
  • Display strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Maintain a dedicated, distraction-free remote workspace with the capability to participate in video meetings.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (no sponsorship available).
