JDE Sales/Distribution business analyst

We are in need of a highly skilled Business Analyst who specializes in JD Edwards, specifically in the Supply Chain field. The perfect candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the main Supply Chain and Distribution functions within JD Edwards, which includes 3rd party tool integration, orchestrations, and customizations. As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain processes, enhancing system functionality, and driving efficiency improvements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Suggest best practice strategies to increase the efficiency, reliability, performance, and functionality of supply chain processes.
Organize meetings with business stakeholders to comprehend requirements, showcasing a deep understanding of business needs and recommending necessary design changes.
Collaborate with development teams to create and test solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives.
Develop and document Business Requirements, As-Is/To-Be process flows, functional specifications, and other essential documentation.
Establish integration touchpoints between JD Edwards and other applications.
Provide functional support for JD Edwards (JDE) E1 in Sales Order/Distribution and Finance modules, involving customizations.
Prepare test data and collaborate with technical analysts to troubleshoot issues.
Offer support for EDI and other integration testing, as well as post-implementation validation.
Advise on the configuration and setup of system master data.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science is preferred.
8-10 years of experience as a JD Edwards Functional Business Analyst in an EnterpriseOne environment.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in configuring and supporting JD Edwards Enterprise One (E1) versions 8.9-9.2.
Experience in planning and executing JDE upgrades is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in database SQL queries, data extracts, V-Lookups, and data analysis.
Strong familiarity with Orchestrator, EDI operations and integrations, BIPublisher, Sales & Procurement, and logistics experience is preferred.
Flexible thinking and the ability to think outside of the box.
Experience with acquisitions and the conversion of 3rd party systems to JDE is a plus.
Familiarity with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and logistics is a plus.
Experience with support ticketing systems and RPA products is advantageous.
Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, with on-site presence required in Purchase, NY on Tuesdays through Thursdays.
