Job Responsibilities:


As a Jewelry Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing top jewelry design brands, optimizing inventory performance, and driving sales. You will utilize your analytical abilities, negotiation skills, and extensive knowledge of the luxury retail industry to collaborate effectively with various teams and suppliers.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of more than 30 jewelry brands and product lines, aiming for efficient inventory turnover, margin optimization, and mix balance.
  • Professionally negotiating with suppliers and representing the company at major domestic and international jewelry shows.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with leading jewelry suppliers.
  • Monitoring stock levels and inventory performance, analyzing trends, and forecasting needs.
  • Coordinating with suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure timely product delivery.
  • Managing inventory replenishment and tracking stock movement to maintain accuracy in processes.
  • Ensuring product lines are up-to-date and performing well, minimizing outdated inventory.
  • Collaborating with the merchandising team to ensure proper pricing, tagging, and display according to brand standards.
  • Providing product information, supporting special orders, and addressing queries from sales staff.
  • Assisting in training and development related to new product lines, suppliers, and in-house production.
  • Working with ownership, merchandising, sales, and inventory teams to align product selection with company goals.
  • Participating in the development and testing of new product lines.

Job Requirements:


The successful candidate should possess the following:
  • At least four years of experience in fine jewelry buying or luxury merchandising, although candidates with less experience will also be considered.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized, motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities within a team environment.
  • Strong skills in inventory analysis, reporting, and forecasting, with great attention to detail.
  • A deep understanding of the jewelry industry, luxury retail, and product sourcing.
