Job Shop Machinist

Your Role:
- Your primary responsibility will be operating machine tools in our temperature controlled Tool Room to keep our legacy machines running smoothly.
- As an integral member of our in-house job shop, you will perform 2-3 set-ups per day, transforming raw material on the manual lathe, mill, and CNC machines.
- You will also have the opportunity to work on machining R&D parts for new machinery.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
- Proficient in operating Bridgeport Mill
- Skilled in operating manual lathe
- Experience with CNC Lathe
- Adept at operating CNC Mill
- Knowledge of grinding techniques
- Ability to inspect parts
- Familiar with machine assembly
- Strong mathematical skills
- Knowledge of order of operations
- Experience with tool ordering
