Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Process Engineer to join our Manufacturing department. As a Junior Process Engineer, you will play an essential role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, increasing efficiency, and ensuring quality standards are met. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement, develop and implement process enhancements, and drive continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement
- Devise and execute process improvements to enhance efficiency, minimize waste, and improve quality
- Collaborate with teams across different departments to ensure seamless implementation of process changes
- Analyze and interpret process data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization
- Conduct root cause analysis for process failures and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams
- Participate in the development of new products, ensuring feasibility and scalability of manufacturing processes
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in process engineering
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Thorough understanding of process optimization techniques and methodologies
- Proficiency in process simulation and modeling software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Keen attention to detail and effective prioritization skills
- Familiarity with regulatory and safety requirements
