Our client, a highly regarded law firm operating extensively in the Southeast, is actively seeking a driven and motivated Associate Lawyer to join their expanding team in Charleston. This exciting opportunity entails working on a diverse range of complex construction litigation cases within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• If you possess a JD degree from a reputable, top-tier law school and have maintained an impressive academic track record, we want to hear from you!
• You must be a South Carolina Bar member.
• With 2-4 years of experience in intricate construction litigation, your expertise will be put to good use.
• Your proficiency in drafting pleadings, motion arguments, discovery handling, and conducting depositions should shine through.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication abilities are essential.
• Strong analytical skills and the flexibility to work independently or as part of a team are highly valued.

Main Duties:

• Represent clients in intricate construction litigation matters, encompassing mediation, arbitration, and litigation in both federal and state courts.
• Handle a wide array of litigation responsibilities, from developing pleadings to presenting motions and conducting depositions.
• Offer advisory services and support to clients in negotiating, preparing, and reviewing construction contracts.
• Engage and collaborate with a talented and experienced practice group, actively participating in client interactions.
