Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 firm, is in search of a highly skilled and motivated Junior-Level Associate Attorney to become a part of its esteemed Intellectual Property Practice Group. This presents an exciting opportunity for a junior attorney to acquire practical experience in the defense of patent litigation cases while collaborating with a team of dynamic and experienced professionals.

Candidate Profile:

• JD obtained from a top-tier law school with exceptional academic credentials.
• Bar Admission in Texas is mandatory.
• 2–3 years of substantive experience in sophisticated, complex litigation, specifically emphasizing the defense of patent litigation cases.
• A technical degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering or Computer Science) is preferable, although not obligatory.
• Outstanding writing, research, and analytical abilities.
• Positive demeanor, exceptional advocacy skills, and a go-getter attitude.
• Capable of working independently as well as part of a fast-paced team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in highly complex patent litigation matters, managing all facets of defense work.
• Perform legal research and prepare well-crafted motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Engage in the discovery process, including depositions, document assessment, and expert witness preparation.
• Collaborate with a proficient team to develop litigation strategies and deliver exceptional client service.
• Assume case management responsibilities and ensure strict adherence to deadlines.
