Our client, an esteemed AmLaw 100 firm, is searching for a skilled and driven Junior-Level Associate Attorney to join their Intellectual Property Practice Group. This presents an exciting opportunity for a junior attorney to gain hands-on experience in the defense of patent litigation cases while collaborating with a team of seasoned professionals.

Candidate Overview:

  • Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) from a top-tier law school with an impressive academic track record.
  • Must be admitted to the California Bar.
  • Have 2-3 years of substantial experience in handling challenging and complex litigation, with a focus on representing defendants in patent litigation cases.
  • A technical degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering or Computer Science) is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrate exceptional skills in writing, research, and analysis.
  • Positive presence, advocacy skills, and entrepreneurial drive and initiative.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in sophisticated patent litigation cases, undertaking all aspects of defense work.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare high-quality motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
  • Participate actively in the discovery process, including depositions, document review, and preparing expert witnesses.
  • Collaborate with a skilled team to formulate litigation strategies and deliver exceptional client service.
  • Manage case responsibilities and ensure compliance with deadlines.
