We are seeking experienced Maternity Nurses to join our team at our Medical Center in Torrance, CA. This position involves working 12-hour shifts and offers both full-time (3 shifts per week) and per-diem (4-5 shifts per month) options.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during the labor and delivery process
- Assist with pain management techniques and comfort measures
- Monitor and assess the health of both mother and baby
- Educate and support new mothers in breastfeeding and newborn care
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Valid California Registered Nurse License
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Maternity Nurse in a Labor and Delivery Department
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $115,831.32 - $159,274.69 per year
