Position Summary:

• We are currently seeking experienced attorneys with a minimum of 4 years of practice in labor and employment law to join our management-side team in San Diego.
• This is an opportunity for on-site work in a dynamic legal environment.
• Successful candidates will be litigators specializing in employment law with a proven track record and strong academic credentials.
• We require thorough knowledge of State and Federal fair employment laws, wage-hour laws, FMLA, and other related legislation.
• It is essential that candidates have experience in case preparation for employment matters before state and federal agencies and courts.
• The role will involve independent handling of various responsibilities including attending hearings, drafting and responding to discovery requests, and preparing motions for both federal and state court.
• Our associates will also be expected to manage cases through to trial.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in employment litigation.
• JD obtained between 2016 and 2018 is preferred.
• Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
• Proficiency in State and Federal fair employment laws, wage-hour laws, FMLA, and related legislation is required.
• Prior experience in preparing employment cases is strongly desired.
• Ability to work independently and handle responsibilities with minimal guidance.
• Demonstrated skills in attending hearings, drafting and responding to discovery requests, motion drafting, and trial preparation.
