Our client, a highly regarded AmLaw 100 firm, is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join their thriving Employment, Labor, Benefits and Immigration Practice Group at their prestigious Silicon Valley (Palo Alto) office.

Candidate Profile:

  • JD degree from a top-tier law school with a remarkable academic background.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
  • Over 4 years of substantial experience in employment litigation, including a strong interest in arbitration and trial proceedings.
  • Significant involvement in transactional employment matters, such as the creation of employment and severance agreements, EEOC position statements, and DFEH responses.
  • Experience in advising employers on federal and state employment law compliance, developing workplace policies, and providing support for employment training programs.
  • Proficient in conducting witness interviews and depositions.
  • Outstanding skills in legal research, writing, and analysis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Represent employers in employment litigation matters, including arbitration and trial proceedings.
  • Prepare employer policies, agreements, and responses to regulatory agencies like EEOC and DFEH.
  • Conduct witness interviews, oversee discovery processes, and prepare for depositions.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients regarding compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with a highly skilled team of attorneys while managing individual responsibilities.
