Labor & Employment Associate

Location: Tampa, FL or West Palm Beach, FL

Our client, an esteemed national law firm, is searching for a highly-qualified and driven Associate to join their Labor and Employment team in either Tampa or West Palm Beach.

Ideal Profile:

• Hold a Juris Doctor degree from a prestigious law school with a solid academic background.
• Must be a member of the Florida Bar or willing to obtain admission for exceptional candidates open to relocation.
• Possess 3-4 years of substantial litigation experience, with a specific focus on employment law.
• Familiarity with employment-related legislation such as FLSA, ERISA, COBRA, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, and Title VII is preferred, although not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with demonstrated writing abilities.
• Capable of collaborating effectively within a team.

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance to clients on compliance with diverse employment laws and regulations.
• Manage administrative actions and litigation related to employment matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and oversee the discovery process.
• Represent clients in trials and arbitrations concerning employment disputes.
• Ability to work autonomously on client matters while maintaining excellent teamwork skills, as the firm highly values drive and client service.
