Employment Law Associate

Location: Tampa, FL or West Palm Beach, FL

Our prestigious national law firm client is in search of a highly-qualified and driven Associate to join their Employment Law practice in either Tampa or West Palm Beach.

Requirements:

• Graduated from a top-tier law school with a remarkable academic track record (JD).
• Florida Bar Admission or willingness to obtain admission (for strong candidates who are willing to relocate).
• 3-4 years of extensive litigation experience, specializing in employment law.
• Knowledge of employment-related laws such as FLSA, ERISA, COBRA, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, and Title VII preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated excellent writing skills and strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance to clients regarding compliance with various employment laws and regulations.
• Manage administrative actions and litigation related to employment matters.
• Compose pleadings, motions, and oversee discovery processes.
• Represent clients in employment dispute trials and arbitrations.
• Essential to work effectively as part of a team, and independently on client matters in an environment that values dedication and client service.
