Key Responsibilities
- Handle all phases of employment litigation, from pleadings and discovery to trial or arbitration.
- Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions, in state and federal court.
- Take and defend depositions, conduct witness interviews, and manage discovery activities.
- Draft EEOC position statements, DFEH responses, and other compliance-related documentation.
- Advise clients on employment law compliance, workplace policies, and employee relations.
- Represent clients in labor disputes, including collective bargaining negotiations and administrative proceedings.
What You Bring to the Table
- 4-7 years of employment litigation experience, including trial or arbitration preparation.
- Strong knowledge of California employment laws and federal regulations.
- Proven ability to draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda with exceptional analytical and writing skills.
- Background in counseling employers on compliance with ADA/FEHA, FMLA, CFRA, and wage/hour laws.
- Experience in labor relations, including grievances, arbitrations, and administrative hearings, is a plus.
- Collaborative mindset, strong work ethic, and a dedication to delivering superior client service.
Compensation & Benefits
💰 Salary Range: $160,000 – $200,000
🎯 Bonuses: Annual discretionary and billable hours bonuses
