Job Description

• Serve as legal representation for employers in employment litigation cases, covering matters such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation claims, wage and hour disputes, class and collective actions, and federal/state employment law compliance
• Prepare motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
• Conduct thorough legal research and oversee discovery processes
• Conduct depositions and interviews with witnesses
• Offer guidance to employers on employment law compliance, including ADA, FMLA, CFRA, and COVID-related regulations, as well as disability accommodations and leave policies
• Potential involvement in labor relations, including labor negotiations, grievances, and arbitrations

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of substantial experience in employment litigation
• Solid understanding of California employment law
• Proficient in legal research, drafting, and managing discovery processes
• Preferably, trial or arbitration experience
• Ability to provide sound advice on federal and state labor laws
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
• Must be admitted to the California Bar
