Labor & Employment Class Action Associate Attorney / Mid-Level

Location: Chicago, Illinois

Our reputable AmLaw 100 firm is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join our Labor and Employment Class Action Practice Group based in Chicago.

Candidate Profile:

• Graduated with a Juris Doctor (JD) from a top-tier law school and achieved a stellar academic performance.
• Holds Illinois Bar Admission.
• Brings 3–5 years of valuable experience in employment-related and/or class action litigation with a keen interest in trial work.
• Demonstrated experience in defending wage and hour, employment discrimination, and EEOC/DOL claims.
• Successful background in advising employers on federal-state employment law compliance, drafting workplace policies, and providing assistance with employment matters for clients.
• Possesses excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a strong advocate for employers in complex employment litigation cases, including wage and hour class actions.
• Draft and prepare employment agreements, severance agreements, and workplace policies.
• Advise clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws.
• Represent clients during depositions, witness interviews, and trial preparations.
• Collaborate with an experienced team of attorneys on high-stakes employment cases and transactional matters.
