MIDLEVEL TO SENIOR ASSOCIATE – LABOR & EMPLOYMENT

A prestigious national law firm in the top AmLaw 100 is currently seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Midlevel to Senior Associate Attorney to join their growing Labor & Employment practice group in the vibrant city of San Francisco, CA.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate:
- The ideal candidate should hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a well-regarded law school with a strong academic record.
- Admission to the California bar is an absolute requirement.
- 5-7 years of valuable experience practicing employment law, preferably within a highly-regarded AmLaw 100 law firm.
- Demonstrated expertise in handling employment litigation matters, which includes court appearances and depositions.
- Proven track record in managing both single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits, as well as handling complex wage and hour disputes and providing adept client counseling.
- Proficiency in drafting legal motions to compel arbitration, discovery requests and responses, oppositions to motions for class certification, long-form settlement agreements related to wage and hour class/collective actions, separation agreements, offer letters, arbitration agreements, and PIIAs.
- Prior experience conducting due diligence on labor-related matters for M&A deals is highly preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a fundamental requirement for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as legal counsel on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including litigation and providing comprehensive client advice.
- Collaborate effectively with a team of experienced attorneys to develop innovative solutions that promote the advancement of the practice.
- Handle various employment-related issues, such as wage and hour disputes and class action lawsuits.
- Prepare and review crucial legal documents, like motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
What Makes This Opportunity Special?
This position offers an attractive compensation package, with an annual salary ranging from $310,000 to $420,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, a performance-based discretionary bonus may be available.
