Professional Land Surveyor
Location: Griffin, GA

We are currently seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to join our client’s team in Griffin, GA. This role is ideal for someone with experience in Industrial, Commercial, and Site Development projects.

As a key contributor, you will support the organization’s team-driven culture by maintaining strong communication, building client and contractor relationships, and providing leadership within the surveying department. In this role, you will oversee survey crews, manage project scheduling, and focus on mentoring and developing team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions to certify and assume liability for completed survey work.

• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including field measurements and calculations for easement preparation.

• Direct or conduct surveys to establish legal property boundaries based on deeds and titles.

• Record and document survey results, detailing land shape, contours, elevations, and dimensions.

• Calculate heights, depths, property lines, and other terrain characteristics.

• Supervise the preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documentation related to survey projects.

Requirements:

• GA Registered Professional Land Surveyor (required).

• Minimum of 4 years of general land surveying experience.

• At least 5 years of experience with AutoCAD or relevant survey software.

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

• Proven ability to manage and schedule multiple survey projects within budget and timeline constraints.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Valid Driver's License (required).

• Surveyor License (required).
