Job Responsibilities:

• 1. Lead the transportation engineering projects for our esteemed engineering client in the Mechanicsburg, PA office.
     1. Engage in direct communication and collaboration with clients.
     2. Provide training and mentorship to junior and mid-level staff on design principles and delivering high-quality outcomes.
     3. Coordinate with Project Managers from various offices across the region to work on joint projects and manage associated clients.
  2. Act as the transportation discipline lead for the Greater Pennsylvania/West Virginia region.
     1. Serve as a valuable resource for the highway staff, offering guidance on design criteria and processes, and providing mentorship and advice.
     2. Establish and enforce standardized processes and protocols.
     3. Collaborate with counterparts in the other two regions to ensure uniformity and knowledge exchange.
     4. Offer expert guidance to the highway staff in resolving complex project challenges and addressing inquiries.
     5. Assist and support staff at various stages of the projects.
  i. Review the project scope and pricing for efficiency and effectiveness.
  ii. Participate in budget reviews and provide insightful answers to questions.
  iii. Review project submissions for accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 12 to 15 years of professional experience in the field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
• Proven experience in client management, project administration, and supervising internal teams.
• Strong background in highway/transportation engineering.
