Position Overview: We are seeking a Leasing Consultant to assist our Property Manager in achieving optimal occupancy levels by coordinating all aspects of the leasing process.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely responses to inquiries via email, social media, classified listings, and other channels
• Manage phone inquiries and schedule appointments
• Collaborate with the Property Manager to execute marketing strategies
• Engage in outreach marketing initiatives and track their effectiveness
• Conduct market surveys and recommend necessary adjustments
• Prepare lease documents and file them accurately
• Handle lease renewals and correspondences
• Review Lease Hawk calls for quality assurance
• Participate in resident retention programs
• Effectively lease available apartments
• Process resident applications for occupancy
• Assist residents with maintenance requests
• Perform any additional duties necessary to achieve organizational goals

Reporting: This position reports directly to the Property Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) designation from NAA
• Valid leasing license (if required by state regulations)
• Prior leasing experience is a plus
• Previous sales experience is mandatory
• Highly motivated and detail-oriented
• Section 8 experience is an advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Basic computer skills for navigating various systems
• Experience with Yardi Voyager is a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends (8 AM to 5 PM on weekdays, with Saturday showings by appointment only)
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
