  • Must hold either a Wisconsin Professional Engineer (PE) license or a Wisconsin Designer of Engineering Systems (DE) license with at least four years of experience in HVAC engineering design for large commercial buildings
  • Salary can reach up to $150,000 based on level of experience

  • This is an in-office position; remote work is not available

This is an excellent opportunity for a Licensed HVAC Engineer to join a dynamic company located just northeast of Madison. The company specializes in designing, building, and servicing commercial HVAC systems and has been experiencing significant growth. The work schedule offers some flexibility and requires approximately 50 hours per week. Engineers will have the opportunity to witness the manufacturing process of the HVAC systems they design, as well as observe the functioning of the installed systems. This position offers the potential to advance into a division management role within four to five years. The main responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:
  • Developing designs for large-scale commercial HVAC systems using Revit or CAD
  • Overseeing HVAC projects from start to finish
  • Calculating building load
  • Creating installation plans
  • Choosing HVAC equipment
  • Determining appropriate sizing
  • Securing necessary permits
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders

The successful candidate must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Hold a valid Wisconsin Professional Engineer license or a Wisconsin Designer of Engineering Systems license
  • Have a minimum of four years of experience in HVAC engineering design for large commercial buildings
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for engineering
  • Possess a strong and consistent work history
  • Be a US citizen or Green Card holder
  • Reside within a 45-minute commute from the job location
