Licensed HVAC Engineer for Large Commercial Buildings

  • Wisconsin Professional Engineer license or Wisconsin Designer of Engineering Systems license required, with a minimum of four years of experience in HVAC engineering design for large commercial buildings

This is a full-time and permanent opportunity for a Licensed HVAC Engineer specializing in large commercial buildings. Our company is an established commercial HVAC system designer, builder, and servicer located just northeast of Madison. With a strong reputation in design and build, we are experiencing consistent growth and are seeking additional team members to meet the increasing demand. Our clientele spans various industries, ensuring a stable and diverse workload. Employees are consistently engaged and challenged by a range of projects. For qualified individuals with interest, there is an opportunity to advance to a leadership role within our design division in the next five years.

The work schedule offers flexibility, consisting of 50 hours per week. As an engineer with us, you will have the opportunity to witness the manufacturing and installation process of the HVAC systems you design. There is potential for this position to evolve into a division management role within four to five years. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Creating designs for diverse, large-scale commercial HVAC systems using Revit or CAD
  • Managing HVAC projects from conception to completion
  • Evaluating building load and developing installation plans
  • Selecting appropriate HVAC equipment and determining sizing
  • Handling necessary permits and working collaboratively with various stakeholders

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Active Wisconsin Professional Engineer license or Wisconsin Designer of Engineering Systems license
  • Minimum of four years of experience in HVAC engineering design for large commercial buildings
  • Demonstrated passion for engineering and a track record of success
  • US citizen or Green Card holder
  • Residence located within a 45-minute drive of the office
