Licensed HVAC Systems Engineer (PE or DE required)

  • Applicant must hold either a Wisconsin Professional Engineer (PE) license or a Wisconsin Designer of Engineering Systems (DE) license, and have at least four years of experience in HVAC engineering design for large commercial buildings.
  • Compensation for this position can reach up to $150,000, depending on the candidate's level of experience and qualifications.

  • This is an in-office position, and remote work is not available.
  • This is a full-time position with permanent employment status as a W-2 employee.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Licensed HVAC Systems Engineer with experience in designing systems for large commercial buildings. The work schedule for this position is flexible but requires a commitment of 50 hours per week. Engineers will have the opportunity to witness the manufacturing and installation of the systems they design. With demonstrated performance, there is potential for advancement into a division management role within four to five years. The main responsibilities of the successful candidate include:
  • Designing HVAC systems for large-scale commercial buildings using Revit or CAD software
  • Overseeing HVAC projects from start to finish
  • Calculating building loads
  • Developing installation plans
  • Selecting appropriate HVAC equipment
  • Determining sizing requirements
  • Managing permits and compliance
  • Collaborating with diverse stakeholders

Minimum qualifications for this role are as follows:

  • Hold a valid Wisconsin Professional Engineer (PE) license or a Wisconsin Designer of Engineering Systems (DE) license
  • Have at least four years of experience in designing HVAC systems for large commercial buildings
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for engineering
  • Possess a stable work history
  • Be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
  • Reside within a 45-minute commuting distance
