Currently Seeking a Plumbing and Heating Lead Technician

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and Monitor Project Progress
• Familiarize yourself with the Contract/Project Scope, including implementation details and any modifications made with authorized signatures.
• Manage onsite inventory as required.
• Submit daily project slips to the office.
• Submit time cards to the office by 4PM every Friday.
• Stay up to date with Plumbing Licensure and fulfill continuing education requirements.

Effective Communication through Team Hierarchy

Communicating with the P&H Construction Manager

• Provide daily progress updates and notes to the Construction Manager before 3PM (via text or voice message).
• Notify the Construction Manager of any delays caused by materials, signatures, or other trades.
• Adhere to the Construction Manager's benchmark time tables.
• Utilize the Construction Manager's support and guidance to enhance productivity and success.

Communicating with your Assistant(s) Daily/Start of day/End of day

• Send text or lists to prepare your assistant(s) for loading trucks in the morning.
• Facilitate your assistant(s)' progress - share knowledge and techniques.
• Keep assistant(s) engaged by assigning tasks and clearly communicating responsibilities.
• Ensure your assistant(s) have a clear understanding of your expectations.

Communicating on projects with Site Supervisor and other On-Site Personnel

• Maintain regular communication with the Site Supervisor through text or voice message regarding progress, delays, and change orders.
• Forge productive relationships with other trades on-site to promote continuous progress and efficiency.

The ideal candidate should possess a valid driver's license, relevant experience in plumbing and construction, a thirst for knowledge, exceptional organizational skills, the ability to think innovatively, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following areas:
