Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN – Full-time
We are currently hiring for the position of Registered Nurse (RN) in North Las Vegas, NV. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional to join our team. As an RN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, such as hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. You will work closely with registered nurses and physicians to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care, both physically and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include a wide range of clinical tasks, such as administering medication, taking vital signs, and assisting in patient assessments and care plans. Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and evaluating patient conditions.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by registered nurses or physicians.
- Contribute to the development and updating of individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation to ensure seamless care.
- Provide emotional and educational support to patients and their families regarding their health conditions.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and plan for discharge.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, following infection control practices and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Active RN licensure in the state, demonstrating compliance with all licensing requirements.
- Successful completion of an accredited RN program and relevant nursing education.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or an equivalent certification.
- Demonstrated strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team or independently, based on the needs of the situation.
- Willingness to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
