Our client, an esteemed AmLaw 200 firm, seeks a talented and driven Litigation Associate Attorney to join their expanding office in Hartford. This position offers the chance to work on intricate litigation cases while gaining hands-on experience and mentorship from experienced attorneys.
Candidate Profile:
- Hold a JD degree from a prestigious law school with exceptional academic credentials.
- Be admitted to the Connecticut Bar.
- Have 1-3 years of relevant litigation experience in a law firm environment, handling cases in both state and federal courts.
- Display strong analytical and legal writing skills, with a sharp attention to detail.
- Possess prior experience in clerkships and familiarity with employment law matters are advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tackle a wide variety of litigation cases, including conducting research and drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
- Represent clients in both state and federal court proceedings, including participating in the discovery process, depositions, and motion practices.
- Collaborate closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trial.
- Manage multiple client matters in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining high-quality legal work.
- Deliver exceptional client service by effectively communicating the progress of cases and legal strategies.
