COMMERCIAL LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY)

Location: Philadelphia, PA

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join our client's team in Philadelphia. This presents a fantastic opportunity for an attorney to handle a wide range of cases, including professional liability defense, healthcare litigation, and mass torts.

Desired Qualifications:

• Hold a JD from a reputable law school with an impressive academic background.

• Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.

• Have at least 2 years of relevant experience in general commercial litigation, particularly in professional liability litigation (including healthcare, E&O/D&O, specialty care, and senior living litigation), human trafficking and sexual abuse litigation, mass torts, and class action.

• Possess excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills, with the ability to draft compelling pleadings and motions.

• Demonstrate a high level of motivation and take on significant case responsibilities.

• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Defend licensed professionals and institutions, which may include:

  • Assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and skilled nursing facilities

  • Insurance brokers, lawyers, architects, engineers, and agents

  • Professional sports teams and clients in the hospitality industry

• Prepare and present motions, participate in depositions, and assist with trial preparation.

• Manage the discovery process, including document production and review.

• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide guidance to clients.
