COMMERCIAL LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY)

We are working with an esteemed law firm that has been acknowledged in the latest edition of Top Law Firms®. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join our client's team in Philadelphia. This presents a fantastic opportunity for an attorney to handle a wide range of cases, including professional liability defense, healthcare litigation, and mass torts.
Desired Qualifications:

Hold a JD from a reputable law school with an impressive academic background.

Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Have at least 2 years of relevant experience in general commercial litigation, particularly in professional liability litigation (including healthcare, E&O/D&O, specialty care, and senior living litigation), human trafficking and sexual abuse litigation, mass torts, and class action.

Possess excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills, with the ability to draft compelling pleadings and motions.

Demonstrate a high level of motivation and take on significant case responsibilities.

Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Main Responsibilities:

Defend licensed professionals and institutions, which may include:

Assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and skilled nursing facilities

Insurance brokers, lawyers, architects, engineers, and agents
-
Professional sports teams and clients in the hospitality industry
-

Prepare and present motions, participate in depositions, and assist with trial preparation.

Manage the discovery process, including document production and review.

Collaborate closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide guidance to clients.
