Junior to Mid-Level Commercial Litigation Associate
Tampa, Florida

An esteemed law firm ranked in the top 50 is currently seeking a skilled associate with 2 or more years of experience in business litigation to join their thriving Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group located in Tampa, FL.

Qualifications:
  • Extensive background handling complex business litigation cases in both state and federal courts.
  • Primary responsibilities include managing and conducting written and document discovery, drafting motions, pleadings, briefs, and other court filings, as well as conducting and defending depositions.
  • Required experience in preparing witnesses for testimony, attending status conferences, and presenting arguments for motions.
  • Preferred experience in mediation, settlement conferences, negotiations, and knowledge of arbitration or trial preparation.
  • Seeking a highly motivated attorney with exceptional skills who excels in a collaborative and progressive work environment, and dedicated to promoting the long-term goals of the Litigation Department.
  • Previous experience in an AmLaw 100 firm is highly desired.
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities are mandatory.
  • Must possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
  • Must be in good standing with an active membership in the Florida Bar.

In accordance with the California Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act, the expected annual salary range for this Tampa-based position is from $240,000 to $310,000. The actual pay will be based on experience and other relevant factors permitted by law.
