Real Estate Litigation Paralegal

• Bachelor’s degree (REQUIRED)

• Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program (REQUIRED)

• 3+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department

• Strong background in real estate law and commercial landlord/tenant litigation

• Experience with unlawful detainers, lease enforcement, and tenant legal disputes

We’re looking for a Real Estate/Litigation Paralegal to join a dynamic and collaborative Corporate Legal Operations Department. 🔍 Key Responsibilities

Lease Enforcement & Tenant Relations

• Draft default, demand, termination, relocation, and abandonment notices

• Communicate directly with tenants and their legal representatives

• Negotiate and document settlements to resolve disputes and rent delinquencies

Litigation Support

• Support unlawful detainer and breach of lease actions

• Assist with tenant bankruptcy matters and document preservation/legal hold protocols

• Respond to subpoenas and monitor collection efforts and mechanics’ liens

Legal Analysis & Due Diligence

• Analyze commercial leases, including CAM terms, co-tenancy, and exclusivity clauses

• Evaluate legal rights and prepare litigation strategy summaries

• Collaborate with internal teams to minimize legal risk

Cross-Functional Legal Support

• Partner with Property Management and Leasing departments

• Provide daily legal assistance to internal stakeholders

• Monitor and support resolution strategies for legal disputes and construction defect claims
