We are Seeking Counsel for Complex Construction Litigation at Our Florida Office

Join our reputable law firm, located in Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, or Tampa, as we seek a skilled attorney with a minimum of 6 years of litigation experience. In this role, you will serve as Special Counsel in our Complex Litigation Construction Practice.

This is a full-time position with a strong focus on managing complicated construction defect litigation cases, with a great deal of independence.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate exceptional drive, attention to detail, and excellent oral, research, and writing skills.
• Required to have significant courtroom or arbitration experience, including conducting discovery, drafting substantive dispositive motions, and conducting extensive depositions.
• Must also possess some experience with trial or evidentiary hearings.
• An understanding of insurance risk transfer issues related to property damage claims is necessary, along with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

Applicants must:

1. Be active members in good standing of the Florida Bar.
2. Hold a JD from an ABA accredited law school.
3. Preferred qualifications include Board Certification in Construction Law by the Florida Bar.
