Our client, a prestigious law firm ranked in the top 50 of AmLaw, is seeking an experienced attorney to join their Washington, D.C. office. This role specifically focuses on representing clients in litigation and trial practice within the food and beverage industry, while also providing counsel on FDA regulatory compliance and enforcement matters.
Candidate Profile:
- Graduated from a top-tier law school with excellent academic achievements.
- Active Bar Admission in Washington, D.C.
- Extensive experience in FDA regulatory compliance and enforcement, with a deep understanding of food industry regulations.
- Prior experience working at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is mandatory.
- Exceptional analytical, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice to food industry clients on FDA regulatory compliance, including product labeling, safety, and marketing regulations.
- Represent clients in enforcement actions and regulatory matters before the FDA and other relevant government agencies.
- Offer strategic guidance on risk management, compliance programs, and internal investigations.
- Keep up to date with regulatory developments impacting the food and beverage sector and advise clients on emerging risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address legal challenges at the intersection of food law, public policy, and litigation.
