Senior Associate Attorney - International Trade Litigator

Location: Washington, DC

Our client, a highly reputable law firm ranked in the top 50, is in search of a skilled and driven Senior Associate Attorney to join their renowned International Trade practice in Washington, DC. This position provides the opportunity to work on a diverse range of international trade cases, including customs, trade remedies, export controls, and national security regulatory issues.

Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate of a top-tier law school with a strong academic record
  • Bar Admission in Washington, DC
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade remedies and/or customs matters
  • Excellent verbal, analytical, and writing skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues
  • Experience in areas such as antidumping, countervailing, safeguard duty proceedings, and customs compliance and enforcement
  • Familiarity with export control regulations (EAR, ITAR), OFAC sanctions, and CFIUS matters is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Representation of clients in antidumping, countervailing, and safeguard duty proceedings
  • Providing counsel on customs compliance and enforcement, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations
  • Advising clients on export controls, including EAR, ITAR, and OFAC-related issues
  • Assisting clients with national security regulatory matters, including CFIUS filings and reviews
  • Collaborating with a team of skilled attorneys to deliver comprehensive international trade services
  • Building and maintaining client relationships, contributing to the growth of the practice
