Qualifications: Candidates with a BS Degree in Animal Science are preferred, although other degrees and relevant experience will be considered. In addition, applicants should meet the following requirements:

· 5+ years of relevant experience (with a degree.)

· Experience in the field of poultry husbandry.

· Knowledge of hatchery operations.

· Experience in broiler production.

· Familiarity with feed mill operations.

· Thorough understanding and commitment to Animal Welfare guidelines.

· Knowledge and adherence to OSHA guidelines for live poultry production and feed mill facilities.

Responsibilities: We are currently seeking a skilled Live Production Manager to oversee a chicken grow-out facility in Eastern NC. This position will involve managing and providing guidance to 3 hatcheries and 3 feed mills. Specific duties include:

· Effectively communicating with subordinates, colleagues, senior management, and external parties to ensure optimal performance and problem resolution.

· Developing, implementing, and monitoring budgets for Live Production.

· Ensuring compliance with company policies and programs related to bio-security, food safety, and poultry welfare.

· Adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to poultry production.

· Maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.

· Analyzing trends and variables to identify areas for improvement or success and taking appropriate action.
