Maintenance Electrical Supervisor (Position Overview)
Our company, in partnership with a leading Global Packaging and Printing Company, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrical Supervisor in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.
Reporting to: Maintenance Manager
Position Description: As the Maintenance Electrical Supervisor, your role will involve supervising and coordinating the activities of the maintenance team. You will be responsible for the setup, installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery, safeguarding the plant's smooth operation.
Primary Responsibilities:
As the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
· Supervising electricians and maintenance personnel in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and machinery.
· Monitoring and assessing the performance of electrical systems and equipment, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
· Managing the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and machinery, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
· Enforcing adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols during electrical work, ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies.
· Maintaining accurate records in the Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and ensuring maintenance technicians use it correctly.
· Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues in industrial equipment and systems.
· Ensuring accurate documentation of maintenance schedules, repairs, installations, and employee training, maintaining regulatory compliance through proper record-keeping.
· Assisting with the planning and supervision of capital projects, electrical upgrades, and equipment installations, coordinating with contractors and vendors for successful execution.
· Collaborating with plant leadership and operations teams to identify and resolve electrical issues, minimizing downtime and improving equipment reliability.
Key Performance Metrics:
· Efficient utilization of labor resources.
· Ensuring safety of all operations.
Reviewing available information regularly (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) and developing action plans for improvement accordingly.
Key areas for backup:
· Ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining records, reporting, and documentation (EPA, etc.)
· Maintaining building records, drawings, and documentation.
· Recording and documenting equipment records, drawings, and maintenance activities.
