Established Manufacturing Company seeks a highly skilled Maintenance Lead based in Michigan City, Indiana. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in maintenance supervision.

Primary duties and responsibilities include overseeing the procurement of necessary parts, tools, equipment, and supplies. In addition, this role will involve directing a team of maintenance personnel, ensuring the quality and completeness of their work.

You will review production schedules, estimate worker hour requirements, and prioritize projects to maximize productivity. Additionally, you will be responsible for engineering new methods of fabrication, repair, and equipment replacement.

As the Maintenance Lead, you will suggest improvements to working conditions and equipment usage to enhance efficiency. You will also develop and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high levels of housekeeping within the work area.

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of 10-13 employees within the maintenance department. Your responsibilities will include hiring, training, and managing staff, as well as addressing and resolving any issues that arise.

To qualify for this position, you must possess a one-year certificate from a college or technical school. Additionally, you should have 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with a focus on preventive maintenance. A combination of education and experience will be considered. Previous supervisory experience of 1-3 years is also required for this role.
