Maintenance Planner, Scheduler, Parts Room Superintendent

We are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to oversee and manage the maintenance planning and scheduling requirements for all assets at our Rockingham, NC location. You will be responsible for analyzing and updating the asset database and maintenance requirements, as well as ensuring the accuracy and validity of information using relevant software.

· Works closely with maintenance execution, reliability and engineering, as well as external departments to ensure efficient and effective work plans.

· Collaborates with maintenance management and staff to provide effective asset maintenance scheduling and reporting. Implements software upgrades and enhancements and makes recommendations for process improvements.

· Reviews and reports on work order status, ensuring data and information accuracy. Provides recommendations for improving accuracy and completeness of data inputs. Assists in implementing best practices for asset management.

· Coordinates and develops IT interfaces with CMMS of other departments.

· Prepares maintenance forecast reports based on available data and projected maintenance planning activities.

· Determines material needs for maintenance and inspection requirements and coordinates with Procurement and RS&S Operations.

· Manages an assigned budget, forecasting funds needed and monitoring expenditures. Recommends adjustments as necessary.

· Provides scheduling and planning support for work orders and is responsible for the entire work order life cycle.

· Reports and tracks metrics tied to planning and scheduling opportunities to improve efficiencies.

· Coordinates the scheduling of maintenance contract work and conducts performance and business reviews with contractors.

· Collaborates with the CAPEX team regarding manpower needs and ensures that contract companies align with corporate standards.

· Provides monthly KPI reports to the maintenance manager and coordinates special parts orders with maintenance.

· Establishes and maintains “Work-Flow Process Charts” and standard operating procedures for major work systems within plant stores.


Requirements: A minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance and specialized training or education in maintenance is preferred. Previous experience managing contractors, working with CMMS systems, and budgeting is necessary. Strong attention to detail and expertise in generating reports is required, as well as experience in maintaining a parts room.
